Welcome to Our Practice

North Valley Orthopedic Institute, located in Mission Hills and Tarzana, California, provides exceptional orthopedic care and comprehensive rehabilitation services. Orthopedic surgeon Ramin Ganjianpour, MD, and his team are known for their skill, compassion, and taking time to learn about each person’s concerns.

Patients often seek the North Valley Orthopedic Institute team for their top-rated pain management, collaborative approach, and hands-on techniques. They embrace a conservative approach, using nonsurgical treatments and therapies like joint and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections whenever possible to avoid surgery.

When surgery is the best choice, patients can depend on the team’s extensive experience. They frequently perform minimally invasive surgery and surgeries to treat problems in the knee, hip, and shoulders. The team’s expertise includes minimally invasive joint replacements and arthroscopy.

As a full-service orthopedic practice, the team takes X-rays, treats broken bones, and manages a physical therapy department. With a focus on customized treatment plans that reduce recovery time, the team helps each patient regain optimal health and return to their best possible quality of life.

North Valley Orthopedic Institute welcomes people of all ages and accepts most insurance plans, workers’ compensation, and Medicare. To learn more about their services, call the nearest office or request an appointment online today.

What is PRP Treatment?
A platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection is an orthopedic therapy that uses a patient's platelets to accelerate the healing of damaged joints, ligaments, tendons, or muscles. Your plasma contains proteins that help your blood clot as well as support cell growth. The platelets are best known for their importance in clotting blood. However, platelets also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors that are very important in the healing of injuries. By isolating the plasma and concentrating it, it can promote healing when injected into injured tissue. When injected, the body will begin creating new, healthy cells that help the body's tissues heal faster.
